What's Trending Wednesday - Cult Gaia

A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided to take a short get away trip to NYC. I had only visited the city once before, but from that first trip, I already knew that it was one of my favorite cities. The culture, massive structures all around the city, shopping, and food is literally everything that I could ever wish for. I would move there, but only between the months of April and October because you know… I’m a down south girl and I’m just not fit for the ridiculous amounts of snow.

The moment we decided to make that trip, I knew that I needed to find a photographer. What style blogger goes to NYC and doesn’t shoot in the city?! If you’ve ever followed a style blogger from NYC, then you know that their street style photos are a force to be reckoned with. I did some IG investigating (thank God for hashtags) and finally found someone! Lauren with Laurel Creative was amazing! As soon as I touched down in the city it was time to get ready for my shoot, starting with this off the shoulder dress that I paired with the ever so popular Gaia’s Ark bag from Cult Gaia.

The Cult Gaia bag brings me to my first What’s Trending Wednesday! I’m sure you’ve seen it because it’s THE bag that lots of trendy style bloggers seem to be carrying. I first saw it last year on my favorite blogger’s (Kyrzayda) Instagram page. I did a little bit of research because I had no idea what the bag was called, and afterwards, I finally saw why so many girls are carrying it. Besides it being super cute, it’s also super affordable! The Gaia’s Ark in “Natural” is priced at a reasonable $128 (on the Cult Gaia website) so there’s no wonder why it’s the “IT” bag of the summer. Don’t underestimate this bag, as you can pair it with much more than what you would probably think. I’ve even seen ladies put super cute vintage scarfs inside to give it a different look each time you wear it. Going to Cuba soon? Oh, this is DEFINITELY a Cuba bag!

Don’t be the one to miss out! It sells out pretty quickly, and if you have to pre-order, no worries! The company does a great job at keeping you notified, and I actually got mine before the expected date. I’ve linked it for you below. Happy shopping!

P.S. This is not a sponsored post. I just love this bag THAT damn much!
